Mental Health
Our care recruitment company is run by a number of experienced mental health professionals whose skills will be shared through training our care workers. Our staff will have the opportunity to spend time within a mental health setting to enhance their skills and understanding. Specialist training can be provided in areas such as personality disorders, challenging behaviours, working with multiple disadvantages and dual diagnosis. Care workers can also gain experience in drug and alcohol dependency.
All staff members will be trained in the system of reablement in line with the principles of the Mental Capacity Act (2005) which underpins much of our work. Staff will be encouraged to implement this within their practice and have an understanding of outcome-based care planning. Our staff will gain experience in supporting service users with daily living skills such as cooking and managing finances.

Older Adult Care
We also offer older adult care and support to service users within a residential setting. Our care workers will be able to confidently support service users with all skills required for everyday life, including personal care, the administration of medication and all aspects of social stimulation.
They will understand the complexities of capacity and the need to promote independence and choice. Our values-based systems will ensure that our staff have compassion, empathy and respect for all service users.
Our staff will have completed monitored formal training for practical skills such as moving and handling. Their ability to engage with the specific client group will be observed, and any gaps in their training and practice will be addressed with their mentor. Giving you peace of mind that we always have our clients best interests at heart.
